Desire (or Decision)
An incredible product can build desire by highlighting its features, demonstrating its superiority over similar products, and demonstrating its versatility.
As a result of this presentation, the consumer will be prompted to select the particular offering, leading to the decision to purchase.
The customer is interested if they have reached this point.
In the final step, you need to close the sale and convince the customer to take action. This may involve overcoming objections and making a call to action (CTA).
CTAs begin at a higher price and are lowered to a third of the original price.

To make effective sales funnels, you will need a powerful, feature-rich as well as user-friendly sales funnel plugin. For this, I would recommend Cartflows since it is one of the best plugins I have ever seen.
Page Builder Plugin
If you want to build high-converting pages, you might also want to use a page builder plugin such as Elementor. You can also use only the Block Editor to build a funnel if you prefer.
How to Make a Sales Funnel in WordPress
Feel free to tweak the steps below to fit your particular shop and products since they should be adaptable to any eCommerce site.
Step 1: Install Key Plugins and Set up Your Store
Make sure you install and activate WooCommerce first.
In the setup wizard, follow the steps to add your online store details, shipping options, and payment gateways.
Once your setup is complete, go to Products > Add New and enter the details of the product you wish to include in your sales funnel.
To sell any other products, simply repeat this step.
Install and activate CartFlows once your online store is up and running.
There is also a setup wizard included.
If you’re going to use a page builder, then make sure you select it from the dropdown menu when you are at the relevant stage of your project.
If you prefer the Block Editor, you can choose Gutenberg.
Step 2: Design a Landing Page
The next step is to create a landing page for your product.
A piece of content like this is designed to convert visitors who arrive on your website at the ‘interest’ stage into paying customers. Probably they saw one of your marketing campaigns and are now looking for more information.
Go to CartFlows > Flows > Add New to create yours.
You can select from a variety of funnel templates, which you can later customize.
CartFlows displays only templates (called flows) that are compatible with the page builder you selected. Once you’ve chosen one, click Import to open the flow editing screen.
In this example, we’ve chosen a template that has a landing page, a checkout page, and a thank you page.
You can create one or more of these pages from scratch if your template does not include any of these pages.
Let’s customize the landing page of our template using the standard Block Editor.
Open the page editor by clicking on Edit.
In this section, you can move, add, or delete elements, and replace text and images using the page builder you chose during the CartFlows setup process.
Ensure the value proposition is clear and you have an effective call to action (CTA).
Ensure that you save your work.
Step 3: Create Your Checkout & Thank You Pages
Once you have finished this process, go back to your Flows screen and repeat it for your Checkout and Thank You pages.
In terms of this process, it is fairly straightforward, but there is one step specific to the Checkout page that you need to complete.
You might notice that your Checkout page has a label that reads No Product Assigned.
When you click on Edit and scroll down, you’ll see a section titled Checkout Settings, which allows you to link a specific product to this page.
The CartFlows documentation provides a detailed explanation of each option.
The aim of your Thank You page is to let customers know they’ve completed their purchase and build loyalty by making them feel valued.
Additionally, you can include a CTA that directs buyers to your upsell page or social media profiles if they wish to take further action.
Step 4: Add Upsell Pages
You might consider your sales funnel complete at this point.
A repeat customer is, however, an extremely valuable asset to your business.
In order to foster a lasting relationship with your buyers (and potential sales in the future), you should direct them to an upsell page while they are already on the site.
As an example, if your lead just attended a ‘Marketing 101’ webinar, you might offer them a special offer on an eBook called ‘Introduction to Marketing.
Upgrade to the premium version of CartFlows, and you’ll have access to upsell templates.
Alternatively, you can design your templates from scratch by clicking on Add New Step in the flow editor.
Step 5: Direct Leads to Your WordPress Sales Funnels
As a final step, you’ll be able to connect all the pages you’ve just created by linking them.
CartFlows automatically directs users through your site based on the order you specify in your flow editor.
Throughout this tutorial, we’ve been using an example that begins with a landing page, followed by Checkout and Thank You pages.
It’s easy to add extra steps by clicking the Add New Step button and rearranging the order in the flow editor.
Now that your sales funnel has been published, you just have to direct traffic to your landing page via your marketing channels.
Clicking on your CTAs will automatically direct customers to your Checkout and Thank You pages once they complete their purchases for the product you assigned to this flow.
Step 6: Perform A/B Testing
